Personal Injury Commission executive restructure consultation – have your say

Restructure - Dec 2020 (PDF version)

The executive structure of the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) is being put in place as the first step in the creation of the new commission.

As a PSA member who will be impacted by the new PIC structure, you have a right to be consulted over these changes.

Details of the restructure can be found HERE.

A compilation of the FAQs regarding the restructure can be found HERE.

The union will be compiling a submission on the proposed executive structures.

If you would like your feedback to be included with your union’s response, all submissions must be sent to the PSA by 5:00pm on Friday 4 December 2020. Earlier submissions would be appreciated. To provide a submission, email your Organiser Harry Wall on and quote ‘call number 144464’.

If you are personally affected by the restructure and concerned with its implications on yourself, you must email the PSA’s Member Support Centre at or call 1300 772 679.

During the restructure briefing, the PSA confirmed that workers in the PIC will be employed as public servants within the Department of Customer Service, using the same employment model that the Workers Compensation Commission currently uses.

This is a significant win for workers who are being transitioned to the PIC. It means that you will be employed under the Crown Employees (Public Service Conditions of Employment) Award 2009 entitling you to receive all the rights and benefits this Award provides.
