Given the Wages Policy Taskforce next sits again on 30 March 2016, management is in the process of finalising its submission and we will not have any formal approval of bargaining parameters prior to then. It has been decided to postpone the bargaining meeting scheduled for this Thursday, 24 March 2016.
A member meeting was also due to be held on Thursday, however as it is so close to the Easter long weekend and we want as many members as possible to be included, we are postponing that meeting also.
We will inform you of the next member meeting and bargaining date.
In the meantime the most important thing you can do is ensure everyone in your workplace has a voice.
Joining your union is the only way to have your voice heard in the continuing consultations with management.
If you are already a member, increase the strength of the union by asking your colleagues to join.
