PSA Schools Recognition Week 2026
Thriving Schools Start With Us

PSA Recognition Week 2026: 31 August-4 September
Schools thrive thanks to the work done by PSA members.
Whether working in administration, school learning support, student wellbeing, library services, school maintenance or specialist support roles, school support staff are at the heart of every thriving public school.
PSA Recognition Week provides an opportunity for principals, students, families and the wider school community to acknowledge and celebrate the professionalism, dedication and expertise of these essential staff members.
This year’s theme, Thriving Schools Start With Us, recognises the vital contribution school support staff make to delivering a world-class public education system across NSW. Each year, our union hosts PSA Recognition Week to recognise the outstanding contribution of School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS), General Assistants, Farm Assistants, School Psychologists, Student Support Officers. Aboriginal Education Officers and other support staff working across NSW public schools.
