Last night, the PSA was informed of the death of a staff member at Reiby Youth Justice Centre. We remain in contact with the A/Executive Director Youth Justice regarding this, and the PSA will be on site today and tomorrow to provide any support we can for members.

As stated by the Secretary of the Department of Communities and Justice in his email this morning, the cause of death is still being determined at this stage.

The PSA offers our sincere condolences to the staff member’s family, friends and co-workers at Reiby YJC during this difficult and challenging time. We encourage members to utilise their Employee Assistance Program.
