The PSA 2022 Wages Claim

Make no mistake, since 2011 the current State Government has continued to launch direct attacks on your wages through its Wages Policy. In real terms, we are now going backwards.

What can you do?

You will have recently heard from the PSA about our wage claim of at least 3.6 per cent. Undoubtedly you will also have seen in recent times the industrial action being taken by your fellow Public Sector employees in teaching, nursing and transport.

The PSA is frustrated that the NSW Government can recognise the economic power of the Public Sector when it relates to business productivity and property prices in the CBD, but can’t make the same link when Public Sector unions across NSW ask for a pay rise that keeps up with rises in the cost of living and inflation.

Your union will always recognise the hard work and dedication our members bring to the Public Sector. This again just highlights that you deserve a decent pay rise to stay afloat with the ever-rising cost of living. For that reason, the PSA has launched a campaign to push for a decent pay rise to meet the cost of inflation and challenge the NSW Liberal-National Government’s unfair Public Sector Wages Policy cap of 2.5 per cent.

To learn more about the campaign come to the Revenue NSW members’ meeting. Your Delegates, Industrial Officer Phoebe Dangerfield and Organiser Amira Thomson will also be present.
