SAS Staff performance development ban lifted by the PSA

This is an urgent bulletin to all SAS staff, advising the PSA has lifted the ban on activities relating to performance development.

The PSA has informed the Department of Education in writing of this decision.

Lifting the ban means the parties can return to the table and consult on members’ concerns in a positive and productive manner. Some the PSA’s concerns include (but are not limited to):

  • the impact on workload for SAS staff
  • who will be responsible for implementing performance development at a school level
  • details on how performance development will be implemented.

PSA staff and delegates are now arranging to meet with the Department to recommence consultation on the key industrial issues. Members will be advised on the outcomes of these negotiations.

If you have any comments or feedback please contact the PSA on the .
