The Public Sector Needs a Pay Rise Local Campaign Action Group: Expressions of Interest
Thanks again to all members who participated in the 8 June Day of Action. As you know it was a huge success but there is more work to do to stop the NSW Government’s unfair wages cap.
With that in mind we are establishing Local Campaign Action Groups that will assist with future campaign activities over the coming months.
Therefore we are asking for expressions of interests from members who RSVPed and/or QR-coded their attendance on the Day of Action, to participate in a Campaign Committee in one of the following locations:
• Sydney Metropolitan: Central
• Sydney Metropolitan: Parramatta
• Dubbo
• Bathurst
• Tamworth
• Grafton
• Newcastle
• Wollongong
• Wagga Wagga
• Tweed Heads
• Broken Hill
The Local Campaign Action Groups are informal groups to assist with organising and building future campaign activities and will be assisted and coordinated by a PSA Organiser. It is important to note these Groups will not have any formal decision-making powers under the Rules of the PSA/CPSUNSW.
Campaign training will be provided to all Campaign Committee members.
If you would like to expression an interest please do so HERE. Please outline why you are interested and any particular skills/knowledge you may have that would assist with local campaign activities.
