Your Pay Your Say – Result

Dear Members,

In 2008 a four year pay deal was accepted by the PSA without the knowledge or consent of members.  This 2008 pay deal resulted in the loss of hard earned conditions.

In 2013 the PSA commenced the “Your Pay Your Say” survey to ensure that members are consulted about what they will and will not accept in a pay offer.

On 25 May you were sent an email inviting you to vote on whether the PSA should accept the government’s offer of a 2.5 percent pay increase for one year with no change of conditions.

With 4608 voting, the message is clear – 95.92 percent of members voted to accept the offer.

The PSA is due back in the Industrial Relations Commission tomorrow Thursday 2 June to make the Crown Employees (Public Sector – Salaries 2016) Award.
