The Australian Financial Review has reported comments by former Fair Work Commission Vice President Graeme Watson which call for a full review of all base workplace conditions including “high” minimum wages.
(It is still called the “Fair” Work Commission isn’t it?)
According to the AFR, Watson felt the decisions of the Commission had been “grossly compromised” by unions.
In other words, unions blocked lousy employer proposals that would have impacted negatively on their members.
Unions: imagine a world without them.
