Your union is starting to prepare for the next round of enterprise bargaining negotiations and we want you to be involved!

 Members Meeting
Pillar Enterprise Agreement 2015
Thursday 25 September 2014
12 noon
Coniston Community Centre

The win the members had in 2012 to achieve a decent pay rise and stop a raft of cuts to conditions will still be fresh in many minds. The last pay increase of 3.85% from the current Agreement only came into effect from 1 July 2014. But your union wants to make sure we are organised to secure your pay and conditions from 2015 and beyond.

Preparation
Our first step in preparing was to endorse a group of members to form our bargaining team. The following members were endorsed by you:

Michael Arney
Raelene Wenig
Cindie Elliot

This team will be assisted by Industrial Advocate Michelle Bogatyrov who is the Principal Point of Contact for Pillar.

Our next step is to find out what you want, be involved in paving the way for our bargaining team to negotiate and secure for your terms and conditions.

How to be involved
Do you care about future wages and conditions at Pillar? Do you want to make sure your voice is heard? Do you want to stand up for your colleagues to make sure everyone has a fair go at work?

As a union member, your union is your bargaining representative – this is your chance to be heard so that your bargaining team can speak for you at the bargaining table.

Not a member yet (or know someone who isn’t)?
Having a united front in bargaining is the best way to ensure that wages and conditions are improved and protected. By joining the union you can have your say over what issues we pursue.

Non-members are invited to attend and join at our meeting on 25 September, 2014 (voting will be restricted to members) or join online at www.psa.asn.au

There will be another meeting to be held on 9 October, 2014, to provide feedback to members. An email will be sent prior to this meeting as a reminder.
