Union Shopper has informed the PSA CPSU NSW that it is experiencing difficulties with its current gift card provider.
As such Union Shopper has temporarily removed further purchases of all gift cards from the website, whilst investigations continue into some fraudulent activity.
Union Shopper has informed the PSA CPSU NSW:
- the Wallet remains open, so members have access to gift cards they have already purchased. This allows you to view, download and view your transaction history. However, members are advised to not place any new orders through the gift card platform at this time.
- all members who have experienced a loss have already been fully refunded or are in the process of being refunded.
Union Shopper is in the process of obtaining a new gift card provider. Once this has been negotiated it will take approximately 7-8 weeks before the service will be back available online to purchase.
Protecting members and their interests remains Union Shopper’s absolute focus.
Both Union Shopper and the PSA CPSU NSW understand these gift cards are popular and widely used and hope to have this service up and running before Christmas.
