Department of Customer Service: Information on your salary increase
The PSA is pleased to advise your pay increase is finally here.
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) has confirmed that the 4 per cent pay increase will be applied to the first pay run in December, with the increase being backdated to the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2024.
Which means that you should see the pay increase on or around Thursday 5 December, depending on when your bank processes your pay.
What has been agreed?
Increases for non-executive employees in DCS and Service NSW:
- 4 per cent from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2024
- 3 per cent from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025
- 3 per cent from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026.
There will also be a 0.5 per cent increase to superannuation for this financial year and again in the next financial year.
If you are due an annual increment, please speak with your manager to ensure it is finalised prior to the end of this week so that the pay increase can be applied to correctly from the start.
The PSA reminds members that pay rises are not given, they are negotiated. Without the hard work of the union, delegates and members, pay rises and increases to superannuation payments are not guaranteed.
