Inflation called, the PSA answered!

$1000 cost-of-living payment
In 2024, PSA members voted to accept an 11.4 per cent cumulative pay offer over three years.
At the PSA’s insistence, the 2024 pay deal included an inflation safeguard for members in the form of a one-off, taxable, non-cumulative cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of $1000 (plus superannuation) should the Sydney Consumer Price Index (CPI) exceed 4 per cent in the second or third year of the deal.
Your PSA, the union that has your back was successful in obtaining the COLA, which the State Government will now pay.
