Police meeting and Funeral Arrangements

Dear PSA members,

The funeral of long serving public servant Mr Curtis Cheng will be held on Saturday 17 October at 10.00am at St Marys Cathedral in Sydney.

All friends and former colleagues of Mr Cheng have been invited to attend.

On Tuesday 20 October, I will be meeting with Police Deputy Commissioner David Hudson to discuss some of the concerns that have arisen following Mr Cheng’s murder.

I will be accompanied by a PSA delegate representing Police civilian staff and another PSA delegate representing Special Constables.

PSA delegates at Police Headquarters have been actively supporting Mr Cheng’s family with a range of matters including access to workers compensation payments.

This has been a tragic time but the kindness of many people has been allowed to shine.

Thank you to all our members, delegates and staff who have been so supportive.

Anne Gardiner
General Secretary
