Defending the right to protest – defending democracy

The Baird Government has laws before the NSW Parliament to criminalise protests, jail activists and seize any device that could be used to ‘lock-on’.

There will be a rally against these laws outside NSW Parliament on Tuesday 15 March 2016 at 12pm and we want you to bring your bike lock along in defiance.

This is one of the harshest attacks on the right to protest ever in NSW.

The Baird Government and big business are under pressure from successful protests across the state.

The Greens NSW believe in the right to protest and will be working to stop these laws being passed.

Come stand up against these laws outside NSW Parliament on Tuesday 15 March 2016 at 12pm.
