St. George PAC: Changes to GASO Roster

The PSA was recently advised of changes to the GASO roster at St. George PAC, in particular that the Command intends to trial starting times of 9:30am instead of 10am. This means the shifts would finish at 6:45pm instead of 7:15pm.

PSA WINS CHANGE IN POLICY

In late 2017 the PSA became aware of DFSI’s internal policy for service checks for recruitment. Part of said policies gave authority to hiring managers to consider any prospective employee’s sick leave history (12 months’ history) and workers’ compensation history (five years) when they are undertaking background checks as part of recruitment.

DFSI Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) – PSA Members’ Update

The PSA recently attended the DFSI JCC on 31 January 2019. The JCC is the peak consultative committee between the Department and the PSA and is attended by the Secretary, Mr Martin Hoffman, and other senior members of the DFSI leadership team along with PSA Delegates and Industrial staff.
