The PSA met with Deputy Commissioner Abbas on Thursday, 21 June 2018 and through the JCC held on Thursday 28 June 2018, the following issues were tabled:
Over the last 12 months the PSA has heard from members in schools about the increasingly unmanageable and unreasonable workloads SAS staff are carrying.
The PSA advises members they are not required to participate in the 360-degree reviews. Despite what some managers have advised members, participation in the review is not compulsory.
Special Constable Delegates and staff of the PSA held a meeting on 2 July 2018 with Assistant Commissioner Kyle Steward to discuss members’ concerns with the recently published role descriptions.
