A bulletin came out on Friday with details on how staff will be called for C and B watches over the Christmas period due to staff on leave and shortages in casuals and full-time employment vacancies.
On the 14 and 15 November 2018 we were before the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) on several issues. We had delegates from MRRC and Long Bay present at the IRC for Commissioner Murphy to hear directly what was happening in and around the State.
The POVB State Executive met with Commissioner Severin on 2 October 2018 in reference to an internal review being conducted on Use of Force processes and procedures.
Members contacted the Executive at the beginning of the week with concerns that CSNSW are in the process of reviewing the Use of Force Policy with a view to watering down the policy and possibly changing the legislation.
