Dear members A Regulation under the Government Sector Employment Act (GSE) was passed on Friday, 17 June 2016. This Regulation was introduced without consultation or notice to any public sector union. It extinguishes the right of NSW public sector workers to be entitled to redundancy or severance payments where privatisations occur and so called “comparable employment” is available.
