NSW Sport and Recreation Centres: Retain, Modernise, Optimise

logo

At the conclusion of an extensive market testing process the NSW Government has decided to retain, modernise and optimise the 11 Sport and Recreation centres across NSW.

Centres will continue to be operated by Office of Sport.

After investigations were carried out into options to improve services delivered, the NSW Government has decided modernising centres and services would increase usage and provide the best community outcome.

The NSW Government is dedicated to increasing usage and access to each of the eleven Sport and Recreation facilities across NSW.

The market testing process has highlighted many ways services across the centres can be improved for school, sporting and community groups.

Further investigations into capital improvements will also be undertaken to ensure the centres continue to perform and provide the best service for the community.
