PaTH, draft Change Management Plan (CMP) – Australian Museum

The PSA has been provided with the draft CMP for the changes that will affect staff currently in HR and Finance with the AM resulting from the NSW Government’s Process and Technology Harmonisation program (PaTH) which will see a number of functions in these areas move into a shared service model managed by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

The PSA has been informed that all staff who are impacted by this will have been met with and advised as to the proposed changes.

The current period for feedback is through to 15 April 2024 and if PSA members have any specific concerns as to the current draft CMP you are always welcome to raise these either with your PSA Delegates or directly with the Industrial Officer by email to

As initial feedback, the PSA has raised with management the need to give more prominence to the NSW Government Workforce Mobility Placement Policy implemented in December 2023 across the whole public sector which is a new step to maximise the retention of public sector employees within the public service.
