NSW swelters in record heat-workers need to keep safe at work

Whilst much of NSW has been experiencing record heat wave conditions over the last few weeks when many people are off on leave, a number of PSA/CPSU NSW members have been continuing to provide public services to the public, including assisting our disabled living requirements, keeping the public safe in our communities and gaols, protecting our environment and natural resources, and keeping our state moving.

The PSA/CPSU NSW reminds members that it is legal to seek adjustments to your work conditions or even cease work under WHS legislation, when these extreme heat conditions are experienced and the PSA has developed the following guidance material to assist members managing heat.
