A big thank you to all our members who participated in our phone survey over the past two weeks. The PSA/CPSUNSW called members who reside in the Federal Electorate of Macquarie to find out what they are thinking in the lead up to the Federal election on 21 May 2022.

The survey asked members to rate how concerned they are about the cost of living, job security and the environment, as well as how supportive they were of the establishment of a Federal integrity commission, pubic services being properly funded, and having strong and properly funded higher education and TAFE sectors. As you can see from the results below, these are areas of concern for the majority of members.

 

We then asked members who they intend to vote for at the upcoming Federal election. It would appear from the survey results that the majority of members intend to vote in a way that correlates with their areas of concern.
