The PSA and the Department attended conciliation in the Industrial Relations Commission on 25 March 2015 where:

  • The PSA articulated the concerns of members to Commissioner Newall
  • The PSA and the Department agreed with the Commissioner’s recommendations that the parties meet to discuss the issues as a matter of priority.

Consultation will focus in the first instance on COU, relevant training, heightened security and vacancies that relate to work health and safety issues.

The PSA/SOVBAG request that members supply information in support of their concerns to ensure you are being heard.

Information can be provided to Ron Bak, SOVBAG Chair.

A members’ teleconference is proposed for 14 April to report back on the progress of the meetings.
