Dept of Justice Organisational Performance & Operations Division (OPOD) Restructure
Dept of Justice Organisational Performance and Operations Restructure – June 2016
The OPOD Restructure change management plans were released on 14 June for:
- Office of General Counsel
- Information Technology Services (ITS)
Information sessions were held on the day for the Department to brief staff on the structure of the plans and the process.
The PSA met with the Department to discuss the change-management plans and was informed the Asset Management Services (AMS) change management plan was not yet ready to be released, advising it was due to work load issues within the Executive with staff acting in higher roles.
The Department advised the AMS change-management plan is due to be released on 27 June 2016.
The PSA has requested a Transformation Consultative Committee be developed for AMS during this change-management period. Management has agreed to establishment of the Committee. Two PSA Delegates will be on the Committee; we will notify staff shortly as to who they are.
The PSA has been advised copies of the following have been uploaded onto the Departments intranet:
- the presentation provided on the draft change-management plan
- the draft change-management plan including present and proposed organisational structures
- draft role descriptions.
Feedback for the change-management plans released on 14 June 2016 is due on 28 June 2016. We encourage all members in the Office of General Counsel and ITS to provide feedback to the PSA, either through their delegates or send an email to . We will collage members’ feedback and provide it to the Department.
