Ballot Results for Local Land Services
The electronic ballot for voting on the LLS Industrial Instruments opened on 18 October 2013 and closed on 12 November 2013.
There was a 40% return, which is double the average participation rate.
The results of the ballot are as follows:
- LLS Award – 96% in favour
- LLS Flexible Working Hours Agreement (FWHA) – 96% in favour
The PSA will write to the Chair of the Board of Chairs to confirm our position that the LLS Award application can be made “with consent”.
The “with consent” position of the parties will greatly assist the next phase of the process for the making of the LLS Award before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission.
The LLS FWHA can be signed between the Chair of the Board of Chairs and the PSA General Secretary independent of the NSW Industrial Relations Commission.
Both the LLS Award and FWHA are on track to be operational for the commencement of LLS in January 2014.
