Court Reporters: Policy Consultation Update

Thank you to members who provided feedback on the department’s proposed Procedure Manual for the Workforce Planning Unit, following our February bulletin.

Delegates have redrafted the policy, integrating member feedback. This redraft reflects the many and varied inaccuracies of the department’s original policy, which the PSA will discuss at our next meeting with management.

Delegates welcome feedback on the redraft, which you can read HERE. Please send through any comments by COB Friday 17 May.

New Industrial Officer and Office Bearers

Your delegates convened last week for the first time as the new Court Reporters Vocational Advisory Group Committee, to discuss current issues and meet our new Industrial Officer, Jacquie Carovska.

Jacquie has extensive experience in the union movement, and has hit the ground running to progress the industrial interests of DCJ members, including court reporters.

The Committee also elected its office bearers, listed below. As always, PSA delegates and staff are here to help when you need to talk union.
