As detailed in the last bulletin on 28 June 2024, the SOVBAG committee resolved that “All sub-branches are welcome to meet, consider, and implement any actions that they deem fit” in response to the Government’s decision not to deliver a long-awaited pay rise to members.
In line with the above,
All members of the PSA in the NSW Sheriff’s Office within the Hunter and Northern Regions are directed to attend a stop-work meeting on:
8:30am-10:30am, Thursday 4 July 2024
All PSA members in this region are to report to their Hub locations for the meeting.
Those locations are:
- Gosford
- Newcastle
- Port Macquarie
- Tamworth
- Coffs Harbour
- Lismore
Only members of the PSA can participate in the above Action. Clause 64 of the Crown Employees (Public Service Conditions of Employment) Award 2009 states that “There will be no victimisation of staff members prior to, during or following industrial action”.
