The PSA is seeking the views of members in regard to the Flexible Working Hours Agreement.
On Monday, 28 November, the PSA and delegates met with the Department to continue negotiations in relation to the Draft Flexible Working Hours Agreement.
During the meeting, the Department provided the PSA with a written response to our Log of Claims. Click HERE to view the PSA’s log of claims and click HERE to view those of the Department.
In summary, the Department has agreed to Clause 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 19, 21, 22, and 23.
Due to the bargaining parameters established by the Expenditure Review Committee (ERC), the Department was unable to agree to Clause; 10, 15, and 17 and 20.
Further work is required between the Department and the PSA relating to Clause; 2, 11, 12, however the PSA and Department are still in discussion and aim to have these points resolved in the near future.
Please note: the Department has extended the consultation period for a further two months with the expiry date now 30 January 2017 with implementation of the new agreement commencing in July 2017.
