New PSA Organiser - Public Service Association

New PSA Organiser

The PSA has recently welcomed Shane Jobberns as the Transport PSA Union Organiser.

Shane will be visiting sites in person to meet with members and potential members and undertaking meetings both in person and via Microsoft Teams whilst on site so as staff working from home can participate.

Currently Shane is undertaking mapping of sites and many members may not have provided the PSA with their most up to date worksite location.

As your union, it is vital for us to have your correct member details. By having accurate information, we can ensure that you receive relevant updates and important announcements promptly. Furthermore, this will enable us to provide better support, advice, and representation whenever you need it.

We understand that circumstances change, be it a new role, transfer, or a move to a different division. By keeping your details up to date, we can tailor our efforts and effectively represent your interests.

Time to update your details

Since you’ve joined the PSA, you may have moved home, changed work locations, changed your email or phone number. All you have to do is go to the Members area HERE, sign in and click Update and Pay. There you can update your details.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing your organiser Shane Jobberns or membership .

Union benefits

It’s also useful to note the many advantages of being in the union that you may have forgotten about.

The PSA offers journey insurance, which covers you if you get injured going to and from work, as well as emergency ambulance cover, personal injury cover, a free will-writing service and a provident fund. Members can also take advantage of many discounts through Union Shopper for the Good Guys, cars, discounted gift cards for Woolworths, Coles and a plethora of other brands with Australia’s biggest selection of discount cards.
