PSA CPSU NSW Women’s Conference 2025 – 95 Years Strong

95 Years Strong

PSA CPSU NSW Women’s Conference is always a chance to celebrate.

In 2025, Conference have us a great chance to celebrate 95 years of Women’s Council. For nearly a century, Women’s Council has helped our union focus on getting results, cutting wage inequality and making our workplaces safer and more suitable for women.

As always, Women’s Conference featured some first-rate speakers, including an inspiring presentation from Jelena Dokic, who overcame unbelievable hardship off the court to become one of the world’s greatest tennis player.

We also heard from Kate Washington, the Minister for Families and Communities and Disability Inclusion and a number of experts on creating safer workplace for women.

We also paid homage to a great union member, Aunty Ruth Simms, whose work with Aboriginal children is a great example of the vital work our women members do for a better NSW.
