As members will be aware, management have indicated their intention to reduce Meal/Crib breaks from the current 60 minutes/30 minutes to a proposed 50 minutes/20 minutes. This is despite over 20 years of custom and practice at the current rate.

PSA staff will be in attendance to provide an update and to hear member feedback about the proposal on:

All Police Radio staff are encouraged to speak with us during their breaks to discuss 50/20 implementation and any other matters of concern. Non-members are also welcome to come and have a chat about the benefits of joining the PSA.

Membership forms will be available for those wishing to sign up on the day and all staff are encouraged to join the PSA and get involved by having a say in how their workplace is run.

Anything raised will be treated with strict confidentiality.
