Delegates and PSA staff met with Service NSW and RMS this morning.

Service NSW advised the following merger or relocations:

All staff at these locations will have 1A Priority status for like roles in any Service NSW site, that is, you will be guaranteed an interview. This is consistent with the recommendation of Justice Walton in the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, which can be read HERE.

Service NSW have agreed to waive the ‘6 month rule’ for staff at these locations.

108 substantive staff plus 24 placed staff are directly affected by these mergers/relocations.

120 roles in Service NSW will be advertised by the end of August and a further 80 roles will be advertised by the end of 2015.

Service NSW has committed to providing pre-interview training at all the affected sites.

A further meeting with delegates, the PSA and Service NSW was held on Wednesday, 26 August 2015
