PSA members vote YES on new flex agreement
Recently, the PSA has been in negotiations regarding managements proposal to move employees currently under the Flexible Working Hours Agreement (FWHA) of Sydney Living Museums (SLM) to that of the State Archives and Records Authority (SARA). See our earlier bulletin HERE.
Members will recall that there were a number of changes being proposed. You can read about those changes HERE. One of the changes is that the new agreement doubles the amount of flex days’ staff can take during a settlement period.
In a ballot of SLM PSA members, a majority voted YES to the change.
The PSA has made contact with management to accept the changes on behalf of the membership.
Management advised it supported flexibility and where possible would be agreeable to individual flexible working hours’ arrangements.
The PSA is committed to helping members who require assistance negotiating such an individual flexible working hours’ agreement. Please call the industrial professionals in the PSA Member Support Centre on 1300 772 679 if you require assistance. Your contact will be kept private and confidential, unless you state otherwise.
The PSA has made contact with management requesting when the shift to the SARA FWHA will take place. The PSA ha also requested that staff are trained with regards to the new SAP system. We will update PSA members once these answers are received.
Thank you to PSA members for their feedback during this period.
