Over the past few days, NSW  faced challenging weather conditions that significantly impacted many communities across the state. During this time, the State Emergency Service (SES) demonstrated extraordinary dedication, resilience, and professionalism in responding to the needs of the community.

The SES members managed an incredible workload, responding to more than 8300 incidents across the state. Their efforts included assisting with flood rescues, clearing fallen trees, addressing property damage, and supporting affected individuals and families.

We acknowledge and deeply appreciate the tireless work of SES volunteers and staff, who stepped up in difficult circumstances to provide critical assistance and keep our communities safe. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and the difference you make in times of crisis is invaluable.
