School Psychologists & Student Support Officers – ‘Working alone’ Survey

The PSA has raised concerns with the department about your safety when working bandwidth hours onsite at school, possibly alone. The focus of the questions is your safety, when working after the school’s operational hours during school term, when students and most staff have left for the day. The responses collected will be de-identified but the collective data will assist the PSA to provide evidence to the Department of a workplace health and safety issue which we believe is widely experienced by School Psychologists and Student Support Officers, when accessing flexible working hours.

The PSA wants to reach as many School Psychologists (SPs) and Student Support Officers (SSOs) as possible to progress the issue, so please share the bulletin with your colleagues.

The survey will close on Monday, 21 August 2023.

JOIN the PSA

While the survey is open to all School Psychologists and Student Support Officers, the PSA can only act on behalf of our members.  We encourage SPs and SSOs who are not yet members, to join the PSA and be part of a strong, growing union.
