Child Protection Week 2021: PSA thanks our dedicated Community Services Members

The PSA is promoting and acknowledging the contribution of NSW public sector child protection workers during Child Protection Week 2021. Kicking off next week on 5 September Child Protection Week is dedicated to promoting, thanking and celebrating the role of Child Protection Workers.

PSA members working in child protection are at the forefront of supporting some of the most vulnerable communities in NSW throughout the pandemic. This year your contribution to the lives of children and families in extremely challenging circumstances is nothing short of remarkable.

Three ways the PSA is promoting and supporting you!

1. The PSA’s Champions of the State Campaign highlights the amazing work our members do across NSW. We have promoted child protection members as champions of the state throughout the last two years the campaign has been running. If you want to be part of the Champions of the State Campaign email

2. PSA organisers have been holding virtual meetings with Community Services members across the state. If you would like to arrange a meeting on Teams contact your PSA Organiser.

If you’re holding a virtual Child Protection Week event at your office, we’d love to promote it on social media. Send your photos to

3. We work on high level systemic issues facing our members as well as supporting you on an individual, workplace or district level. Find out more about what the PSA is doing to support PSA members in Community Services on the PSA Website.
