The PSA want our retired members to know that we are thinking of them during the current COVID pandemic.

During these difficult times it can be very lonely and affect everyone’s mental health. If you are not coping you can contact the RAG Welfare Officer – Reg Lobb on 02 4294 1656 or PSA Welfare Officer Trish O’Brien or the President of the PSA Nicole Jess, see contact details below. Outside agencies to call for support are Lifeline 131 114, Beyond Blue 1300 224636, and the NSW Mental Health Line 1800 011 511.

To stay up to date regarding COVID-19 rules, restrictions and support packages retired members can call service NSW on 137788 and select the COVID-19 option or visit www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19

Retired members may also find that there are government programs available to them that they haven’t claimed previously through the Service NSW cost of living programs.  The programs includes rebates, discounts, and discounts based on a person circumstances.

Service NSW offers two ways to check eligibility and claim, either call 137788 and speak to a Cost of Living specialist or visit www.service.nsw.gov.au/campaign/cost-living and complete a self-assessment.

We want you all to know that the PSA is running business as usual.  For any enquiries at all do not hesitate in contacting the Member Support Centre on 1300 772 679.
