Community Services Departmental Committee: Nominations update
The PSA is pleased to announce Caseworker Domenica (Dom) Stephenson from Lithgow Community Services Centre has been elected to the vacant Central West Departmental Committee position. Congratulations Domenica!
Your union put out a call for nominations for your Departmental Committee (DC) in August of this year. There are still two vacancies. Each nomination must be seconded by two financial members in the same electorate as the nominee.

The current vacancies are both in the South West (Junee PSA Office) electorate which covers Albury, Cootamundra, Dareton, Deniliquin, Griffith, Leeton, Tumut and Wagga Wagga CSCs.
PSA Delegates and DC members are the day-to-day face of the PSA in the workplace, connecting members to the union. Members look to Delegates as leaders in relation to workplace issues that may arise and to ensure a diverse mix of roles and voices are represented when advocating for PSA Members in Child Protection and Permanency.
With the upcoming development of a new Child Protection Award, it’s vital we have representation from our regional members. Nominations are open to all PSA Members!
