PSA President Nicole Jess gave an update which included reference to consultation and negotiations with the new State Government and discussion about the extent of insecure work in the Public Sector.

Julie-Ann Bond, Industrial Manager of the Communities, Health and Education Team gave an update on current housing issues. Housing and homelessness are priorities for the Retired Associates and we’re seeking to be as supportive of the PSA as possible to address the accommodation crisis in NSW and the level of insecure work experienced by staff who are trying to find people places to live.

We had a great presentation from Cassandra Platts and Sara Manley from Dementia Support Australia which provided a lot of valuable information to members.
