On 31 October the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS) wrote to the PSA as well as meeting with officers that morning.

The PSA was advised of the upcoming implementation of the Department’s organisational restructure, and the commencement of the consultation period on Monday 4 November 2024.

The PSA was provided with copy of the following documents for your reference:

These documents provide a summary of the upcoming changes for discussion during the consultation period, along with details on the proposed structure, employee communication methodology, and a detailed summary of the next steps. To ensure that employees are properly supported, the Employee Consultation Pack will be provided to employees to facilitate discussion during the consultation period and will be available on a dedicated intranet page.

The consultation period with staff and unions will commence at 12:30PM on Monday 4 November 2024

and will conclude at 12:00PM Friday 15 November 2024, providing a two-week consultation timeframe.
