PSA School Psychologist Update: Congratulations on your new delegates!
Following the recent School Psychologist delegate elections, the PSA wishes to advise that three delegates have been elected to the School Psychologist Vocational Advisory Group:
PSA DELEGATE | SCHOOL | REGION | CONTACT |
Erin Kremer | Chifley College, Dunheved Campus | Sydney Metro
Alicia Rowan | Buninyong Public School | Regional NSW
Ben Bramston | Kingscliff High School | Regional NSW |
The School Psychologist Vocational Advisory Group will meet alongside their PSA staff on a regular basis, to discuss collective issues and concerns that affect the broader membership group.
PSA delegates represent you with management
Your union represents your interests at meetings with management called Joint Consultative Committees (JCC). The purpose of a JCC is to establish a regular forum for issues and concerns to be raised with management and addressed collaboratively.
If you have collective workplace issues you would like raised at your next JCC get in contact with one of the Advisory Group delegates close to you.
Know someone who isn’t a member?
It is clear that there are concerns about the disparity in conditions, entitlements and salaries of School Psychologists.
Building collective power through a strong union is the only way to advance the interests of School Psychologists – so forward this bulletin to your colleagues and encourage them to JOIN the PSA today.

Proposed Gender Fluidity amendment
Thank you to School Psychologist members who submitted feedback on the proposed amendment to the Education Legislation Amendment (Parental Rights) Bill 2020. The consensus was that the amendment would be contrary to the professional and ethical commitments of School Psychologists and detrimental to student’s mental health and wellbeing.
