Schools Infrastructure NSW Procurement moving to Operations

The PSA is aware the Secretary announced yesterday plans to move the Senior Executive (PSSE) reporting lines of the Procurement Business Unit within School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) to move to Operations. Your union has been notified by Employee Relations of a ‘lift and shift’ of the Procurement Business area from the Business Enablement directorate within SINSW to the Operations Group Division.

Procurement provides services to all divisions and schools across the Department, and we are aware that procurement historically sat within broader Operations/Corporate Services.

The proposed change is set to repoint the Group Director from the Executive Director, Business Enablement in SINSW, to report to the Chief Operating Officer in the Operations Group. The PSA is advised that there are no other reporting line changes for the other 30 staff members, nor changes to role descriptions or office location for any employees.
