Trustee and Guardian: Remember to vote for your HSR
Reminder - Aug 2020 (PDF version)
NSW Trustee and Guardian has announced the nominations for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs).
HSRs are important in ANY workplace because they:
- are elected by their colleagues
- represent health and safety interests of the workplace
- have legislative power to direct people to cease unsafe work
- conduct inspections of the workplace for Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) risks
- put the organisation under notice to fix WHS issues in a workplace.
It is important that the representatives elected are PSA members as the PSA can assist with WHS matters with its industrial expertise, and assist HSRs in their role of ensuring a safe workplace.
Your NSWTG delegates running for the position of HSR are:
Richard Falkowski (PJP – Level 7)
Julie Griffiths (PJP – Level 6)
Lynn Ellis (PJP – Level 6)
Terry Hancock (PJP – Level 6)

If you have any questions about the process, or the benefits of having elected HSRs in your workplace, contact your local Delegate or your PSA Organiser, Glenn Duncan at .
