NSW Trustee and Guardian has announced the nominations for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs).

HSRs are important in ANY workplace because they:

• are elected by their colleagues
• represent health and safety interests of the workplace
• have legislative power to direct people to cease unsafe work
• conduct inspections of the workplace for Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) risks
• put the organisation under notice to fix WHS issues in a workplace.

It is important that the representatives elected are PSA members as the PSA can assist with WHS matters with its industrial expertise, and assist HSRs in their role of ensuring a safe workplace.

Your NSWTG delegates running for the position of HSR are:
