We need your help
Dear members,
We need your help.
The background
On Friday 19 June, the PSA wrote to Mark Webb requesting that he consider and enact the recommendations in the “MoPS Pay and Entitlements Consultation” document HERE, prepared by PSA delegates Tilly South and Tom Harris-Brassil.
In the second half of 2019, a survey was sent to all MoPS staff. Staff were asked about a range of issues including working hours, conditions and pay.
The document is a compilation of the results and recommendations from that survey, as well as further discussions between PSA Delegates and MoPS staff members.
This consultation process concludes MoPS staff are overworked, and feel unrecognised for the vocation they perform. We believe enacting the recommendations in the attached document will recognise MoPS staff service to the NSW public
What you can do to support the MoPS staff campaign
- Talk to your Member of Parliament
- Show them the ‘MoPS Pay and Entitlements Consultation’ document
- Ask your member to write a letter of support to Mark Webb by Tuesday 30th June 2020.
To make the process easier, attached HERE is a template your MP can simply sign and send.
MoPS staff are overworked and industrially undervalued. By supporting this document, you are helping strengthen your recognition at work, as well as lift your rights in line with other NSW public sector employees.
We will continue advocating for the recommendations to be enacted, but to do that, we need your help today.
