PSA Acknowledges Deputy Secretary’s Service
The Deputy Secretary of the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), Mr Atticus Fleming, has announced his decision to step down, with their last day being 7 February 2025.
While the PSA and NPWS leadership have not always agreed on every issue, we acknowledge the constructive dialogue that has developed during Mr Fleming’s tenure. This openness fostered a working relationship that allowed the PSA to advocate effectively for our members, resulting in progress on several important matters.
Leadership transitions can bring uncertainty, and the PSA will continue to advocate for the interests of NPWS staff as this change unfolds. Our commitment remains to ensuring that the achievements to date are sustained and that the union’s voice is heard in shaping the future direction of NPWS.
We wish Mr Fleming all the best in their future endeavours and thank them for their willingness to engage with the PSA during their time as Deputy Secretary.
