Mental Health Commission restructure
The Public Service Association (PSA) has been advised of the proposed restructuring of the Mental Health Commission (MHC) to bring it in line with the recent Suicide Prevention Act and Strategic Direction 2025-2030.
Follow these links for the Organisational Realignment and Frequently Asked Questions.
The Consultation Period has been extended to Friday 17 October.
Members are encouraged to request their current Position Description and compare against the proposed roles in order to be fully informed and proactive. If you have questions around proposed changes, please reach out to the PSA or speak with your manager and People and Culture.
Overall there is an increase in roles. However, the proposed changes may still impact on your role. We strongly advise that you ask questions of the MHC and provide feedback, especially if you think there may be better ideas. This can include specifics around your role and any proposed changes.
Meeting for members
We will be on site for a lunch time meeting on Tuesday 14 October between 12:30pm and 1:30pm to answer any questions you may have.
If you are seeking any further support or advice, please contact your Industrial Officer, Graydon Welsh via email
