The PSA, your delegates, and other Transport unions have been in intense negotiations with TfNSW for your Transport for NSW Salaries and Conditions of Employment Award 2017.
We are pleased to advise all parties have secured an in-principle agreement, subject to seeking the views of members.
The agreement is for:
- a two-year award commencing on 1 July 2017
- 2.5 per cent pay rise on the first pay period after 1 July 2017
- 2.5 per cent pay rise on the first pay period after 1 July 2018
- a number of new conditions including those aimed at improving job security.
Outstanding details are being finalised over the next few days. Following this you will receive an email with full details of the in-principle agreement and a link to vote on the new award.
As the body of our union in TfNSW, all members are strongly encouraged to have your say and participate in the ballot.
If members agree to endorse the new Award, we expect that the new award will commence and that your pay will increase by 2.5 per cent (backdated to first full pay period after 1 July 2017) within the next four weeks.
