Your union attended the Better Regulation Division (BRD) Consultative Sub-Committee with local delegates on 28 November 2023. During which it was identified that the Mutual Sick Leave Fund (MSLF) had a balance of 1974.97 days and that a report would be provided to the PSA.

SafeWork inspectors contribute to the MSLF on an annual basis. The administration of the MSLF is guided by Clause 11 of the Crown Employees (Department of Customer Service – SafeWork NSW Inspectors 2007) Reviewed Award.

As the business had not reached the 2100 days maximum, the PSA was advised that it is intended to take the 2024 contribution out on 28 March pay day.
