Members are advised this email discusses sexual assault
Over the past few weeks we have all watched as our national Parliament was revealed to be a workplace that is unsafe, and particularly unsafe for women. It comes at a time when our Australian of the Year, Grace Tame, speaks bravely and boldly to us all about doing better for survivors of violence, rape and sexual assault.
People are getting together to show these injustices are not OK and that workers should be safe at work and at home. Thousands of people all over the country are getting together to organise: some for the first time in their lives. If you have followed the news wondering, “What can I do?” the events below might be for you. We have collected these together for you to see what might be going on in your local community.
